October 1st, the National Day of the People's Republic of China. It is a public holiday to celebrate the national day.
As the traditional holiday since New China was founded on October 1st 1949, there has always been holding a grand ceremony
celebrating the forming of new government. Moreover, this is also a rite to honor the martyr who has been fought and sacrificed for
China’s independence and from aggressors.
The National Day marks the start of Golden Weeks and will be celebrated throughout mainland China, Hong Kong,
and Macau with a variety of government-organized festivities, including fireworks and concerts. Public places, such
as Tiananmen Square in Beijing, are decorated in a festive theme.
